Sumaira's Group's story

Sumaira lives in Lahore, Pakistan. She is a responsible mother of 2 children. Her husband owns a garment shop which is the only source of income for the family. He sells a variety of garments in his shop. Presently he is interested in purchasing garments for the summer season. However due to financial constraints he finds it difficult to do so. Therefore Sumaira, as a member of two persons lending group, has requested a loan from Kiva's partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase garments for her husband's shop. She is hopeful that the loan will be a productive one for the business. She wants to start savings from the profit so that in the future she will not face any financial problems.
