A loan of $375 helped to purchase merchandise like beer and pop.

Juana Rosario's story

Juana Rosario is 45. She lives with her husband and two children, whom she loves very much and for whom she works very hard so that they can succeed and live better than she has. Her home is located in the city of Pisco, a city which has one of the country's most important tourist attractions: the Paracas Candelabra and the Ballesta Islands. The main economic activities are fishing and agriculture.
Juana is very hard-working. She started her business selling pop and beer two years ago. She works about 10 hours per day, and 15 hours per day on the weekends. She can see up to 40 customers per day. She thinks that her business is going well for her because she is attentive to her customers.
Juana is very grateful to the Kiva lenders; this is the second time that you are providing your great support. She will buy more merchandise for her business, especially beer and pop. This will allow her to have a greater variety of products to offer her customers, and to keep working to make her great dream reality: "To give my children careers and to make sure that they are happy".
