A loan of $1,200 helped to buy a laser printer.

Alexandra's story

Alexandra, who is 25 years old, is the owner of a graphic design and advertising business. Three years ago, looking around her, she noticed a need for this in many of the businesses around her and in order to improve her skills while earning an income, she decided to offer these skills as a service to the community in the municipality of Soledad. The main products she offers are graphic design and advertising, for which she makes use of the technological advances of the internet.

Alexandra works from 8 in the morning until 6 at night to offer a service to her main customers, who are neighbouring businesses and people who live nearby. Currently Alexandra is asking for a Kiva loan, a second loan, through the Fundación Mario Santo Domingo, which she will use to buy a laser printer.

With the previous loans she has been able to build up her infrastructure and thus been able to reach more customers. Her goal is to become firmly established and eventually start a healthy family. In the meantime, Alexandra puts in a lot of hard work and dedication every day to make her business grow.
