A loan of $375 helped to buy bananas in order to sell them in her business.

Narda's story

Narda is forty-nine years old and is divorced. She lives in her mother's house together with her parents and her two children. Narda makes a living selling bananas. She has established her business in an area of her mother's house. Every day, she attends to her customers that come to see her. She has been in this business for five years and her mother helps her. She complements this work with another business selling charcoal and ice.

The thing she likes the most about her work is that it allows her to have an economic income. This gives her peace of mind in being able to offer her children everything they need.

Today, she hopes to continue working and to establish a greater place in which to sell her products. In this opportunity, she requests S/. 1000. She is thankful and happy to know that she can continue receiving the financial support that she needs in order to advance her business. With the loan, she will buy bunches of bananas over time so that she can continue selling.
