A loan of $375 helped to buy more drinks to sell to her clients.

Musy's story

Musy is 22 years old, single, and lives at home with her parents and two siblings. She sells cold soft drinks on both a wholesale and individual basis. She has a refrigerator where every day she cools the drinks that she sells to her clients. She has been working on her own for the past year. Musy likes this business as it has enabled her to have her own income with which she covers her personal expenses, and she is able to support her parents with their home expenses as well. She really values the degree of independence having her own income has provided.

Musy would like to become a prosperous businesswoman and someday have a larger location from which she can develop her business. Currently, Musy is asking for a loan of S/. 1,000, and she is grateful for all of those people who make it possible for her to receive this loan that she needs to improve her business. Musy feels very supported working with the other members of her lending group, since there is a lot of group solidarity. With the amount that she is asking for, Musy will buy more drinks of various types in order to satisfy the demands of her clients.
