Shehnaz's story

Shehnaz is a 38-year-old married woman. She has been successfully running a small general store with her husband at the corner of her house. She has five years of experience in this field and makes enough to contribute to the family income. She is the mother of four children and is motivated to provide her family with good quality food, clothing and health. Because of her work, she is respected in her home. To deal with the demands of her customers time after time she needs to buy more packs of salt, biscuits and beverages. For this she requested a loan of PKR 40,000 from Kashf Foundation. It’s her fourth year with Kashf Foundation and she has shown good repayment behavior. She is expecting a boost in her earnings and dreams of expanding her business in the future.
