Aissata's Group's story

This group has been in existence since April 2010 and comprises women who come from the same neighborhood. The members of the group work in retail and are united by good social relationships.

Aissata (raising her hand in the photo) is the group's representative. She is 53 years old, married, and has a 28-year-old son. She is actively involved in selling vegetables and fresh fish.

With her new loan of 400,000 CFA francs, she will spend 75,000 per week to buy some baskets of vegetables and 25,000 CFA francs per week to buy baskets of fresh fish.

The profits from her activity allow her to take care of some of her family's daily expenses.

In this group: Aissata, Sokhna, Bousso, Penda, Amy, Fatou
