Al-Kfah Group's story

This group is called Al-Kfah Group. It consists of five women who applied for a loan of YER 340,000.

Afrah is a 48-year-old, married woman who sells women's clothes in her stand, located in Aden, Yemen. She applied for a second loan from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB) and will use the loan to buy a variety of clothes to stock her business. The reason for requesting the loan is that she received some orders, but she did not have the necessary capital to get the products.

Afrah’s business challenges are competition and high seasonal demand, so she will use the profits to increase her merchandise and, thus, her sales. She and the rest of the members of the group thank Kiva lenders for funding them in their first loan and they hope to be funded in this group.

In this group: Taghrid, Jamila, Salia, Elham , Afrah
