A loan of $350 helped to buy items for a dollar store and stationery shop.

Elionora Gladys's story

This is Elianora's fourth loan that she has taken out along with her friends and companions from the Zhullin loan group.

She lives in the outskirts of the city of Azogues, a place with a cold climate. This city has the special characteristic of being located at a slant due to its geography. Its people are very competent artisans who maintain the culture and traditions of their peoples.

Elianora is 40, married and with her husband has had two children who are 15 and 5 years old. Her first child studies in college, and her second child is studying at school. Her husband works as a tailor and they live in their own house.

Elianora has a dollar store and stationery shop at her home. She has worked from Monday to Saturday without a fixed timetable for 18 years. Because her business is in her home she can look after her children.

She is going to invest her new loan in buying items for her dollar store and stationery shop to continue growing her business. Her goal is to continue to extend her premises.
