A loan of $850 helped to buy merchandise for her scrap business.

Victoria's story

Victoria’s from Ciudad de Allende, Coahuila but has lived almost her entire live in the city of Piedras Negras. She and her husband work selling scrap merchandise. They now live alone since all their children have families of their own. Since Victoria is a very enterprising woman she also works selling used clothing.

She’s asking for support via Kiva to be able to invest more in her business selling scrap because at the moment it’s the business that produces the higher income and with it she’ll be able to stock her clothing sales business and continue moving forward alongside her husband because she says that they don’t want in future that their children should have to struggle economically with them when they are no longer able to work and this is why she wants to stock the scrap business.
