Soliha's story

Soliha is a 53-year-old widow and has three sons. She lives in Dangara, Tajikistan. For seven years, Soliha has sold children's clothing. Her second oldest son helps her run the business. Her oldest is a migrant worker in another country and her youngest is still in school. She has a place from which to sell her goods that is located at one of the city's markets. The income Soliha receives is barely enough to provide for her family and to keep the business going. She is a hardworking woman. Now, she wants to increase her turnover and move her business forward. She is asking for a loan to buy an assortment of seasonal children's clothing to sell. This loan will help Soliha obtain more diverse inventory which will increase sales and, consequentially, her income. She relies on your support.
