A loan of $1,350 helped to buy agricultural inputs for her coffee plants.

Marina's story

Marina is 46 years old, married and the mother of two children. She is head of the household and has worked in agriculture since she was young, having 6 years of education. Only she and her husband work in agriculture, and have for more than 10 years, but it was her parents who taught her to work with the earth when she was young. She cultivates primarily corn, beans and coffee. The earth that she and her husband work in is their own, thanks to the hard work they have put into being frugal to be able to one day have something of their own.

She has requested a loan from COMIXMUL to be able to give better care to her coffee plants, and in this way she will be able to protect her coffee plants from a harmful pests.

Her dream is to be able to extend and increase the variety and quality of her plants to be able to offer more of what her clients are looking for and meet her goals. In this way she will generate more income for her family and will be able to support her children in their studies. Her dream is to see them grow and become professionals.
