A loan of $375 helped to buy food products like rice, sugar, milk, and others.

Jully's story

Jully is 26 years old and is married to Carlos. They have two young children who live with them at home. Jully makes a living by selling food products in a store located inside of her parents home. She sells products like rice, sugar, eggs, oil, noodles, and other things to her customers.

She started her business over 4 years ago, with her own capital, and she has been able to increase that capital due to the products that she sells daily. She likes her job because she can count on income, which she uses to help her husband with the cost of food and raising their children.

Many times, her husband's income wasn't enough, so they had to seek help from her parents. Because she knew they couldn't continue this way, she decided to start her own business, and now has regular customers and plans to expand her business. With the profits, she plans to buy a prosthetic leg.

This is her third loan with Kiva, and she is grateful for the financial support that she has received to move her family forward. She promises to pay her dues on time. With the requested loan of 1000 nuevos soles, she will buy food products like rice, sugar, noodles, candy, and others.
