4 Cats Group
Susan is the leader and featured member of this group. She is a 50-year-old married mother of five children, standing on the far left of the picture. Her husband is currently unemployed, which means that her entire family depends on her salary. However, all her children are enrolled in schools, and her income is barely enough to provide for one person. Thus, she decided to acquire the group loan from Al Majmoua to settle the schooling tuition fees of her children. This would allow her children to acquire the proper education she did not have the opportunity to obtain.
As for the other group members, Marilou is the lady wearing a cap, Sahlee is the woman wearing a pink shirt, Anecita is the lady standing on the far right of the picture, while Elisa is the woman standing left of Anecita.

This is a Group Loan
In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
Kiva's Field Partners typically feature one borrower from a group. The loan description, sector, and other attributes for a group loan profile are determined by the featured borrower's loan. The other members of the group are not required to use their loans for the same purpose.
