Mahoro Group's story

Hekima client Serafina is the head of this business group called « Mahoro», their elder and an entrepreneur with wide experience, aged 54, married and the mother of eight children, some of whom already have their own families. Her husband is a mason and builder. The borrower sells palm oil. She displays her products along the street and sometimes in her house. She began her business with an MFI Hekima loan about five years ago.

This new loan will serve to allow her to buy one barrel of palm oil. In this way, she hopes to grow her working capital, put her children in school, and feed them. Finally, she thanks Hekima sincerely for supporting small entrepreneurs with microloans.
