Shakeela's story

Shakeela, age 46, deals in the business of cloth sales. She buys variety of ladies’ cloths from the main city market and sells them to the people of her area. She earns a good income to support the expenses of her six children. She started her business because it was very difficult for her to meet her family's household needs with only the small income of her husband. Therefore, she decided to help her husband in earning. Now she plays a very important role in supporting her family.

She has been in relationship with Kashf Foundation for the past four years. At present, she is requesting a loan in the amount of Rs. 30,000, which will allow her to purchase a greater selection of cloths in different colors and designs by taking into account the demands of her customers. Shakeela expects a boost in her net income through her increased sales of ladies' cloths.
