A loan of $2,950 helped to purchase souvenirs for retail sale.

Svetlana's story

This is not the first time Svetlana has experienced the utility of well-timed financial help from KIVA. She has already increased the amount of capital in inventory, and her income has risen by 1000 hryvnia.

With 24,000 hryvnia she hopes to fill out her inventory and expand her stock of souvenirs: in particular sopilky (a traditional Ukrainian musical instrument), shirts, key chains, and magnets. Svetlana hopes that her business will continue to develop and bring more profits to the family.
