A loan of $750 helped to purchase grocery goods, to increase his profit.

Kamal's story

Kamal is a 22-year-old man who lives in Ibb, Yemen. He has completed secondary school.

Kamal opened a grocery store two years ago. He started his business with limited capital and income, provided by his dad. He did his best to improve and expand his business in order to build his future.

Due to the current bad situation which Yemen faces, Kamal's business is making less profit and his customers are decreasing. Therefore, he is planning to bring new goods to his grocery store in order to keep his customers and improve his income.

He has requested a youth loan of YER 160,000 from Al-Amal Microfinance Bank (AMB) in order to purchase grocery goods, to increase his profit. He hopes that this will enable him to continue running his business successfully and make the business more profitable.
