A loan of $800 helped to buy ten sheets of sheet roofing for his house, two quintals of feed for his chickens and two quintals of fertilizer.

Juan De La Crúz's story

Juan, 26, is in a relationship and has a son. Since he was young he has worked in agriculture and six months ago he started raising chickens.

He has been a farmer since the age of 15.

The loan requested through Fundación Campo is to buy ten sheets of sheet roofing for his house, two quintals of feed for his chickens and two quintals of fertilizer.

With the loan he will fix his house to protect him from the rain since the walls are deteriorating and he will be able to sleep well without having to think they will get wet while he is resting.

His plans include to expand his chicken business, increase the size of the shed and plant more grain (corn, beans) then what he plants today.
