A loan of $600 helped to buy spare parts for his motor taxi because it is damaged and he cannot work with it until it is fixed.

Fredis Leonel's story

Fredis is 31 years old. He and his partner have two children, ages 6 and 3. The oldest child is currently in school. Fredis is a hardworking, honest, helpful, and responsible person. He has worked as a taxi driver since he was 19. He has not had any other job opportunities, so driving his motor taxi is the only work he knows. When he lived with his parents, he had the responsibility of helping his mother, so he was not able to learn any other trade. Fredis' mother later left for the United States to help provide for their family, so Fredis lived with his grandparents. Currently, he works to help provide for his family.

The loan Fredis is requesting from Fundación Campo will be used to pay for some repairs to his motor taxi that is damaged to the point where he cannot work in it. Fredis comments that while his motor taxi has been damaged, he has been borrowing one to work with, but he is still behind because the profit isn't the same with a borrowed taxi.
