A loan of $250 helped to buy fertilizer, weedkiller, and a variety of sandals.

Reina Carolina's story

Reina works growing pipianes (a type of squash) and selling sandals. She works from home and lives with her husband and daughter. Reina learned to grow and sell pipianes from her parents. She has had these businesses for two years. Reina needs to invest in a new crop of pipianes. For this she will buy fertilizer and weedkiller to prepare the land for her crops. She will also buy a variety of sandals so she can continue working and increase her household income. Reina's dream is to expand her business and build her own house. She also hopes to add some other products to her merchandise.
