A loan of $375 helped to buy flour at wholesale.

Nella's story

Nella, 31, is married to David; they have four children living with them in the house she rented two years ago. She owns a house but because of the business they leased a house near the city’s square in order to open a bakery. She comments that her work is very profitable because she’s one of the few people making this product. She rises very early in order to make the bread and earn very good income.

Now, she’d like to buy industrial machinery to improve her products and reduce the time and effort because she currently works by hand in an artisanal way.

This is her first Kiva loan and she’s grateful for the financial support received because it will allow her to improve her income. She commits to be punctual with her installment payments. Nella will use the 1,000 soles to buy flour at wholesales.
