Alice's story

Alice is 42 year old. She lives and works in Buchanan, the capital of Grand Bassa County and is located by the sea. It is well known for its beaches and delicious fish. Many logging companies are based in the city. Residents of the city love eating fufu, a cassava-based dough typically eaten with soup or sauce. Most people in the city of Buchanan are Bassa speakers, one of the indigenous languages of Liberia. she and her family live in Buchanan. She has seven children between the ages of 22 and 7; only three are currently in school. She been selling red oil, pepper, salt etc for the past two years in the local market. She is requesting a loan to purchase more red oil, pepper, salt etc for her business, She likes her business because it helps to support her home. She hopes to one day to own a house.
