A loan of $1,000 helped to purchase flour, eggs, butter, sugar and other supplies for making bread and tamales.

María Magdalena's story

María is 64 years old. She's a widow and has two children. She makes and sells bread and tamales, and she's been in this line of work for several years; ever since she was very young, they have always run this business for years in her family. The loan she's requesting from Fundación Campo is to purchase flour, eggs, butter, sugar and other supplies for making bread and tamales. She intends to increase her production, because demand is very high and at the moment she can't keep up with the orders. That way she'll turn higher profits in order to afford her family's expenses and keep on bolstering her business which is a family tradition.
