A loan of $1,100 helped to buy ingredients to prepare food for her business.

Zoila's story

Zoila is 57. She is married and lives in her home with her husband. She sells fast food and regional dishes such as meat and banana roasts. She goes to the market in the city every day to buy all the necessary ingredients for preparing the foods that she sells in the front part of her home. She has been doing this work for four years, and her daughter has been her constant help and support since she started. What she likes about her job is the ability to work from home, and she enjoys generating her own income working in the kitchen. In the beginning it seemed difficult to get used to the rhythm of the work, but now her business is stable. She hopes to be able to open a restaurant in the future where she will be better able to serve her customers.
She is requesting 3000 soles. She is very excited to know that there are people who will provide her with economic support to continue with her business. She promises to be punctual with her repayments. With the requested amount, she will buy all of the necessary ingredients to continue with her business, such as potato, rice, oil, and meat.
