Carmela is 67 years old, is married, and has 10 children.
Carmela is in the agricultural business, farming rice in the Philippines. She requested a loan of 27,000 Philippines pesos (PHP) through NWTF to buy more fertilizers and other farm supplies.
Carmela has been farming rice for eight years now, and has borrowed 15 times in the past from NWTF to sustain it.
In the future, Carmela would like to repair and renovate her family home.
