Julietta's story

Julietta is from the small village of Tolors, which is located in Syuniq, one of the coldest regions of Armenia. Locals here are mostly involved in agriculture. Mostly they breed cattle and cultivate some limited amount of vegetables. Julietta runs a farm. She keeps 25 sheep, 2 cows and 10 chickens. On her family's land she cultivates potato, wheat, barley, and haricot, and grows nut and appletrees.
Julietta lives with her husband, son, daughter-in-law and little grandson. Other family members help Julietta with farming activities. As a skilled and devoted farmer, Julietta works hard to gather enough income and cover her family's needs. Unfortunately, it is very difficult for her to cover many costs that are related to the farm. So, Julietta has applied for this loan. With the loan's help she will purchase a cow, a bull and will cover transportation costs. She wants to rent a truck for transporting the gathered harvest to the local market for sale. The loan is important for Julietta to continue running a successful farm and to ensure a better life for her family.
