A loan of $275 helped to purchase one more buffalo.

Bushra's story

Bushra is a 40-year-old widow who has been in the business of selling milk for many years. She has two milk buffaloes; she sells their milk to many of her neighbors, along with butter that she makes from the milk. Her business is good enough to allow her to lead a decent life. She has two children; both are school going. She is very motivated to provide them a beautiful life with good education, food and clothing.

She has improved her business to meet the day-to-day expenses of life. This is her second year with Kashf Foundation and she is happily running her business with its support.

Now she requested a loan of PKR 25,000 to purchase one more buffalo. She hopes to increase her capacity to produce milk, which ultimately will help to generate more cash.
