Gloria Amparo's story

Gloria Amparo is a 44-year old woman. She is married and the mother of one son. She was raised in the country, but fourteen years ago was presented with an opportunity to move into the city with her family. She currently works as a stylist and has had her own beauty salon, located on the first floor of her house, for about ten years. She learned this profession at her husband's insistence that she get her training. At first, she offered her services in her client's homes, but thanks to the loans she has received from the Corporación she was able to establish her business and contribute financially to her household. With the loan she is requesting, Gloria Amparo wants to purchase wholesale supplies (dyes, brushes, hair treatments and other items). She also wants to make some improvements to her shop that will improve her customers' perception. Gloria Amparo's greatest wish is to continue with her business, to grow it little by little while keeping it stable and long-lasting. In this way, she will continue working for a better quality of life for her family.
