A loan of $1,400 helped to buy manure, fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide for his corn crop.

Santos Gilberto's story

Santos is 45 years old. He is married and has three children. He has worked the land since he was 13 years old, since growing grains has been the work and sustenance of his family for years. He learned by helping his father. His family has always grown staple grains. He obtains agricultural supplies in the city, which is thirty minutes from his house, and he transports them on the bus.

The loan he is requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy manure, fertilizer, herbicide, and pesticide for his corn crop in order to support his family, since from it he obtains the money to cover some household necessities.

He wants to buy more cattle and plant a lot more, and in that way obtain more and better income so that his family will have what they need.
