A loan of $800 helped buy more clothing to sell.

Cruz Marina's story

Cruz is 34 years old, and she has three children and a partner. For 8 years she has been selling clothing informally. She learned this business by necessity in order to cover household expenses. Before she was only doing domestic work.

Cruz buys clothes by the pound and sells them in units. She gets the clothes in the city and must pay a vehicle to transport them approximately 75 kilometers to her house.

The loan she is requesting from Fundación Campo is to buy a higher quantity of clothing, given that she sells in different counties and she needs to bring more clothes. In this way, Cruz hopes to sell more, and to receive an income that helps her buy food for her children. Her goal is to establish a clothing store so that she no longer has to be a street vendor.
