A loan of $225 helped to buy fruits and vegetables.

Isabel's story

Isabel makes a living selling various regional vegetables such as onions, potatoes, tomatoes, and plantains, and fruits such as papaya, passion fruit, and others. She has a small place for this in front of her house. Thanks to her effort she's successful in her business.

What she likes about her job is she can talk to her customers, whom she serves kindly and cordially. Later she hopes to have a large store for selling vegetables and groceries more easily.

Isabel's grateful for the opportunity from Kiva to continue with her business. She also promises to be responsible in making her payments.

With the requested amount of 600 nuevos soles [PEN] she'll buy more onions, potatoes, tomatoes, papaya, passion fruit, and other fruits and vegetables because she wants to stock her sales stall.
