Viviana's story

Viviana is 23 years old and was born in the town of Pilcopata. She still lives in the same town, with her partner and their young daughter. They are very happy together. Viviana is an entrepreneurial, hard-working person who puts a lot of effort and commitment into making progress in life. Her main business is selling basic household products such as rice, sugar, noodles, oil, vegetables, gas, soda, meat, etc. She has been in this business for a number of years and it is doing very well thanks to the effort that she puts into her work.

Viviana is a member of the 'Kusacha de Pilcopata' community bank and she needs this loan to buy more merchandise such as sacks of rice, sacks of sugar and noodles to increase her working capital. She is grateful for the loan, appreciates it and pledges to make her monthly loan repayments responsibly. (The town of Pilcopata is well known for its sale of jungle products as well as its accommodation services and restaurants. It is the gateway to the Manu National Park).
