Byambadoo's story

Byambadoo, age 54, runs his own business transporting and selling firewood. He became engaged in this kind of work in 2005, when he started working for a local company as a driver. In his new business, he transports firewood from the countryside to town, where he offers it for sale. He would like to start selling additional consumer goods as well.

Byambadoo lives with his wife Surenhorloo and their daughter in a small house in the Bayanhongor province of Mongolia. Surenhorloo herds livestock to earn an income and their daughter is a senior student at the local university.

Byambadoo has gained valuable experience and is a hard-working man with a positive reputation. He is requesting a loan in the amount of 2,500,000 MNT to purchase starting inventory for his newly-starting business retailing consumer goods and firewood in town.
