Battor's story

Mr. Battor is 43 years old and lives with his wife and two children in the Bayanhongor province of Mongolia. His wife Yanjmaa stays home taking care of the family while she tailors traditional and modern clothes for customers' orders. His children both study at local schools.



Battor has run his taxi service business in town since 2000 and has worked at a local auto repair company for years; he also purchased a second-hand truck to provide transportation service between the provincial center and Ulaanbaatar, the capital city. A well-experienced driver, Battor is requesting a loan of 2,300,000 MNT to purchase silk, cotton and other material for his wife to expand her tailoring business to increase family income.
