A loan of $1,300 helped to buy clothes and sandals.

Benita Santa's story

Benita lives in Guayaquil, Ecuador’s El Fortín sector. She currently sells clothes, shoes and other items customers request. She started this business thanks to encouragement from a neighbor since Benita used to have a small restaurant. She sells her products outside the city which means she has to make trips on weekends to visit various towns. Her dream for the medium run is to acquire a pick-up truck to be able to visit more cities and take her merchandise. She will use the current loan to buy more merchandise.
