Maritza's story

Maritza, age 42, is a single mother of three. She has lived with her children in a rented room for a long time. Maritza sells juice and various breakfasts from the front part of her home. Every day, she sets out a table, chairs, a blender, and all of her products in anticipation of her customers' arrival. She makes varied fruit juice with pineapple, orange, quinoa, and apple, as well as bread with cheese, butter, eggs, and avocado. She has done this work for over two years and she does it with the help of her children. She is very comfortable with this work, since her hard work is rewarded with the good income that she makes daily. She is requesting 2,000 soles. She is very happy to know that she has economic support to advance with her goals. She promises to be punctual with every single repayment. With the requested loan, she will purchase a blender and all of the ingredients that she uses for making her food, such as bread, eggs, avocado, cheese, fruit, and sugar.
