Samuel's story

Samuel lives in Nanyuki, in the famous Rift Valley in Kenya. The 63-year-old father of three is a farmer. This is his major economic activity. He has done this for the last thirty years. He is building rental houses on his small piece of land and he is estimating that in five years the houses will be complete and it will be helping him. He knew Milango through an employee and now seeks a loan to buy some tea tree seedlings, onions and carrots that he wants to plant on his farm. The major challenge that he faces in farming is that the weather cannot be predicted at times. He has three employees on his farm who help him in running the business.
