A loan of $250 helped to buy parts and repair the tuk-tuk vehicle.

Emmanuel's story

Emmanuel lives in Mombasa, Kenya. He is married and has been blessed with six children, all of whom are attending school. Emmanuel runs a local transport business, using a three-wheeled vehicle famously known as a "tuk-tuk," in Kenya. He has been doing this business for the past four years.

His vehicle broke down recently, and that why he is asking for a loan. He will use the loan to buy parts and to repair the vehicle. He learned about Milango through friends. The major challenges that he faces now, are the high cost of financing and fewer customers who are choosing to use this kind of transport.

His ambition for the future, is to own a car rental company. The loan will enable him to pay school fees for his children.
