Francis's story

Francis is 50 years old, married, and a father of five children. For the last two years, he has earned a living by selling farm produce such as mangoes in Malindi. He earns a monthly profit of about KES 7,050. Francis was introduced to KADET LTD by our credit officer, and is applying for his third loan of KES 20,000, to buy seeds, some fertilizer and other farm inputs needed for his business. He will use the profits made through this loan to pay school fees for his children as well as expand his farming activities. His goal for the future is to venture into mixed farming with a view of increasing his income so as to improve his family's living standards.
