Jose Antonio
José, 25, lives in the city of Ica which is noted for its hot, welcoming climate and for the development of agriculture especially growing grapes and asparagus, among others. Because of his limited economic resources, José was only able to finish fifth grade of secondary school but he would have liked to have attended university.

After much effort José managed to start his own business installing aluminum doors and windows, work that makes it possible for him to cover his family expenses since he lives with his wife who supports everything he does and helps him with the business. José believes he’s getting ahead because he’s very responsible and above all because he meets his customers’ expectations.

José is very grateful to Kiva lenders because thanks to the help they’ve given him he will be able to do some home improvements, especially to be able to install a fence to provide more security for his home since he was the victim of a burglary a few months ago. In this way he will be able to continue working with more tranquility because his family will be safer and he can continue striving to make his greatest dream reality: to own a house.
