A loan of $425 helped to buy clothes and perfume to sell.

Mayra Azucena's story

Mayra, who is 47 years old, is a humble businesswoman living in the city of León. She is dedicated to selling clothes and general goods. She is a single mother, and she has two children, who are 30 and 18 years old and of whom only one is in her care.

She started her business four years ago, when she traveled to Honduras to buy clothes to sell in León and its community. Little by little she was collecting capital to invest in the purchase of different types of new merchandise. Currently, she sells clothes and cosmetics for cash and by credit. Her children support her by working with her.

Today, she needs a loan to buy clothes and perfumes to sell. Her main goal is that her family has a better quality of life and that her daughter can study. Among her future plans is to have a store to sell used clothing and other merchandise.
