A loan of $575 helped to buy beer, soft drinks, juice, oil, and other products for her store.

Saquina's story

Saquina is twenty-five. She has lived in a common law marriage for seven years and lives in her mother-in-law's house. She has three children, only one of whom goes to school. The other two are still too young. She has had a store for five years in her home where she sells food products. She started her business with her husband's help, with whom she learned how to run the business. With this loan, she will buy beer, soft drinks, juices, oil, and other products for her store. In the future, she has plans to build her own house and to buy her marriage license. She says that she will pay back her loan on time so that she can request more loans to fulfill these plans.
