David is a 37-year-old married man with five children and all attend school. He is a farmer mainly growing matooke for home and commercial purposes. He also grows some coffee and maize if the season is on.

David has been practicing agriculture since 1998 after failing to continue with education because of a lack of tuition having been born in a large family.

David wants a loan of ugx.1,500,000/=(one million and five hundred thousand shillings) in order to expand his banana plantation as well as clearing bush to prepare for planting maize for next season. His dream is to become a commercial producer for agricultural products as a way of earning more from his projects.

However, David is always challenged by inconsistencies in changing weather conditions that affect agriculture as well as the price fluctuations of the agricultural products on the market.
