Guadalupe Del Carmen
Guadalupe is 32 years old. She grows corn and beans. She has been working in this sector for 15 years and this is how she makes her living. When the crops are ready, she harvests them and stores the harvest in barns such as the one shown in the picture. She then shells her crops.
Guadalupe is a hard working woman, responsible and well known in the area for her big heart and generosity towards others. Because it is sowing time, she decided to start getting ready for it. This is why she is asking for a loan from the field partner, Integral, to invest in the purchase of seeds, fertilizer, insecticide, etc.
Guadalupe's biggest wish is that her crop be plentiful and better than the previous ones because this is how she provides for her family. She is hopeful that with the help from Kiva lenders, her dedication and determination she will make her dream of improving her family's quality of life come true.
