A loan of $1,250 helped to buy urea, fertiliser and compost for her coffee crop.

Mirian's story

Mirian is 41 years old and is married with two children, who are in different years at primary school. She completed primary education thanks to the support she was given by her parents. Her, with her husband, makes a living growing coffee because this activity is a tradition of her and her husband's family . She also grows basic grains such as rice, corn, and beans. Her coffee crops are located 30km from her home, and she travels to them by vehicle.

She has requested a loan from Cooperativa COMIXMUL to buy urea, fertiliser and compost to support and maintain her coffee plants.

Her plans and goals are to be able to introduce technology to her plot of land over time, making it easier to maintain and cut crops among other activities that are necessary to help them better. Her dreams are to support her children until they graduate at a higher level so that they have a stable base and develop in the way they want for their and their families wellbeing.
