A loan of $1,200 helped to buy 2 cows for milk.

Jesús's story

Jesus, 59 years old, is the father of one child. He has worked as a farmer in agriculture and ranching since he was 9 years old. His father taught him how to sow basic grains and raise cows for milk as a tool to move forward in life.

He buys cow feed and agricultural supplies for sowing basic grains in a town 20 minutes from the community where he lives, although he also has silos for the cow feed and he gets basic materials by cultivating the pastures. He buys some remaining items for harvesting from farmers in the area where he works.

The loan he is requesting through Fundación Campo is to buy 2 cows for milk in order to increase the number of his animals and increase milk production to sell. Once he has more milk, he can diversify and offer better quality products to new customers, giving him a better opportunity to grow his business of selling milk and similar products. This will allow him to provide for his family, his mother, and his child. His main goal is to increase the number of animals he has so he will have more opportunities to move forward.
