A loan of $950 helped to purchase grocery items for his business.

Mohammed's story

Mohammed is a 23-year-old man living in Aden, Yemen. Mohammed's business is a grocery store, which he started one year ago when he was partnered with someone else. He worked hard as much as possible to take his friend's share. He was able to gain many customers and he is now inspired to expand his capital and income by purchasing all the grocery items needed by members of his neighborhood. To do this, He has taken a youth loan of 200,000 Yemeni Rials (YER) from Kiva partner AMB for purchasing all the required grocery items. In the future, He hopes to expand his business by opening another store.
