A loan of $1,500 helped to pay for 18 sacks of soil fertilizer, liquid fertilizer applied to the leaves, and rent on the land where he will cultivate 14,000 square meters of corn..

Adolfo's story

Adolfo is 42, married, and has four children aged 14, 12, 9, and 6. From an early age, he has made his living in agriculture, which he learned from his parents. He gets his supplies from a city that is six kilometers away, so he has to hire a vehicle to transport them to his house.

The loan he is seeking from Fundación Campo is to pay for 18 sacks of soil fertilizer, liquid fertilizer applied to the leaves, and rent on the land where he will cultivate 14,000 square meters of corn. With this investment, he will be able to treat his fields on time and in the correct amount in order to obtain a good harvest so he can sell part of it and keep the other part for his family's consumption. In the future, he hopes to have his own capital so that he can reap his harvests and give his children the opportunity to go to school.
