Apu Condorsencca Group's story

Julia is 32 years old and is in a common-law marriage. She is a responsible and kind person who works to provide for her family. She lives in the community of Ccachupata, and this is where she carries out her daily activities. She cultivates crops and raises cattle and other livestock such as guinea pigs and hens. She has some lands where she cultivates potatoes, barley, corn, and other crops. At this time, she needs a loan to buy seeds and guinea pigs.

A group of friends and neighbors formed the communal bank "Apu Condorsencca” in the Paucartambo district. This communal bank is made up of various people who are constantly seeking opportunities to get ahead, and with their daily efforts they are providing a better future for their children. The members of the group work in agriculture, animal husbandry, food sales, fattening cattle, and raising small animals. The members are grateful for the opportunity that is being provided, and they pledge to comply with the payment terms on their loans.

(The district of Paucartambo is part of Paucartambo province in the department of Cusco).
